"Kazakh kuresi" is a Kazakh national wrestling, which is the result of the synthesis of all traditional types of wrestling on the Eurasian continent.

In modern Kazakhstan, this martial art is in great demand among the population. Kazakh kuresi has been included in the republican competition program since 1938.

Kazakh wrestling was included in the program of the V World Nomad Games this year. Competitions are held at the Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov Martial Arts Palace according to the rules of the Qazaq Kuresi Association.
