FIBA Secretary General Andreas Zagklisav, who arrived in Kazakhstan on an official visit on April 22 this year, visited the Zh. Ushkempirov Martial Arts Palace in the capital and got acquainted with the progress of work.

Andreas Zagklisav's acquaintance with this facility was carried out under the coordination of the president of the NGO "National Basketball Federation" Alpamysov Abai Abdisametovich and the director of the RSE "Olympic Wrestling Training Center" Ushkempirov Zhandos Zhaksylykovich.

The Ushkempirov Palace of Martial Arts is a unique sports complex with the possibility of holding international wrestling competitions (Greco-Roman, freestyle, women's wrestling, judo, karate, taekwondo, mixed martial arts). In addition, basketball competitions of various levels are regularly held at this sports facility.
