From November 3 to 6, 2024, the Republic of Kazakhstan Boccia Cup is being held at the Zhaksybek Ushkempirov Martial Arts Palace.
The competition features 85 athletes with musculoskeletal disorders from 14 regions. The Republic of Kazakhstan Cup is a significant event for para-athletes, coaches, and everyone interested in the development of Paralympic sports in Kazakhstan.
It is worth noting that boccia is primarily a ball game and is one of the few Paralympic sports that allows children and adults with the most severe musculoskeletal disorders to pursue self-improvement. In Kazakhstan, the Boccia Federation was established in 2021 through the initiative of parents raising children with disabilities and coaches from the public foundation "World of Equal Opportunities."
We wish all participants the best of luck!
